The hunter clip is ideal for your harder working horses that do not need to impress judges with their coats. All the hair is clipped except for the legs and a saddle patch. This saddle patch serves as a little extra cushioning under the saddle as the shorter, clipped hairs may rub and become sensitive over longer distances under saddle. This clip will also work for endurance horses, but the girth area may rub as well so the endurance clip is rather recommended for them.
